Meet the Doctor
“I admit, I wasn’t sure about going to the Chiropractor”,
remembers Dr. Senser. “I was born at Kaiser Hospital and for every
earache, headache, and backache I had growing, my parents took me to
the hospital and I usually received some kind of pills or a shot. This
is what I thought health was.
But at 17 years old and a high school wrestler, I hurt my neck and became
very sick. When the pills didn’t work and the Kaiser doctor suggested
I quit all sports, my best friend suggested going to the chiropractor.
Some of my friends on the football team said,” you’ll crawl
in crippled and walk out dancing”, to say the least I was a bit
skeptical”.
“It was incredible”, continues Dr. Senser. “I’ll
never forget that first adjustment. It was as if a huge weight was suddenly
lifted off my shoulders”.
Before that moment, Dr. Senser had wanted to pursue a career in biology
or become a medical doctor, but after that treatment, he recalls, he
knew he would become a chiropractor. Dr. Senser completed all his premedical
studies and 4 years of Chiropractic College, with honors, by the age
of 23 years old. He was one of the youngest fully licensed chiropractors
in California, back in 1986.
“We love skeptics”, smiles Dr. Senser. “I still remember
the concerns and apprehensions I had when I went to the chiropractor
for the first time”. Dr. Senser makes it a point to explain everything
in advance and answer any questions thoroughly. Patients really appreciate
his time and effort.
Dr. Senser has been married for over 20 years, and has two children.
In recent years Dr. Senser has completed a lengthy list of post-graduate
conferences, and has completed a two year residency in chiropractic
neurology and another in disability evaluation.
